Amy McVeity is a homeschooling mom of three, holistic health practitioner, owner & operator of InHarmony Health Therapy. Happiness enthusiast. Passionate about health & helping people feel better.
As a child, my passions were simple. I loved being happy, collecting smiley face paraphernalia and helping people feel better. Those three things brought me great joy and purpose. These passions still linger with me as I go about day to day, in my career and as a mom.
If I’m not in my office helping people feel better through holistic practices, mixed with bursts of laughter, you can find me in my sweats with a top knot and no makeup, living life to the fullest by doing cheesy LIVE videos, or hosting virtual events. As a momma, you can still find me in that top knot and sweats, having fun with my children. I love seeing their faces when I crack cheesy momma jokes, dance around to awesome, energy shifting, nostalgic music (like good ole’ NKTOB!), and do my best to teach them everyday life skills such as how to be awesome, kind, happy humans, on this very delicate planet.
Has my journey been as flawless as I hoped it would be as an optimistic child? Au contraire mon frère!

I experienced bullying in school by both students and teachers. Where was Zac Efron during those high school days when I needed him to whisk me away to dance and sing on rooftops? I was in a wonderful university for three years that I loved, but wound up getting deported. in my last year, due to clerical errors on my student visa paperwork which was no fault of my own. I was not able to graduate as a result of this error. I waited a very LONG time to find my true love and have a Hallmark-type family life, only to realize that being a wife and mother is not for the faint of heart. Over time, and through many more experiences, my life has proven to be greatly empowering, rich in opportunity, and exhilarating.
There are a few quotes that stand as inspiration, truth and motivation in my everyday life. The first is: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and stand a little taller,” (which played on a constant loop in my mind as I delivered 3 babies naturally). The second is: ” Come what may and love it!” And lastly: ” Stop playing small. There is greatness within you!”

Whether in practitioner or momma mode, I have learned that forgiveness and laughter are key to healing the soul. If you find yourself in my office, home, or on a call, my top priority is to leave you feeling better than when you came and to ensure that we have laughed together.
Life is a gift meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. There is greatness within all of us and I get super excited to help in the discovery of that and witness the healing that takes place because of it.
