If I could give my past self some advice it would be to not look to external factors to determine my worth. Comparing yourself to others robs you not only of your peace, but creates a person who can’t simply enjoy precious moments of time. I would tell her that she is so loveable and loving with the biggest heart, and to stop worrying about what others think. Even when trying to change people and situations, her heart will remain full and open.
I believe that in life there is no such thing as success or failure, but rather, everything is a process. Sometimes it takes time and a lot of hard lessons to truly find ourselves and our aligned life path in terms of career etc. If there was a measuring rubric of success I would say it would be with continuous learning and growth; we are meant to change… change is not bad, staying stagnant is.
