Sonja Picard, artist and jewelry designer, has been a professional artist for 32 years. She has been called a bling therapist by many through her renowned service called Recycle Your Love. Sonja’s creations are steeped in symbolic references from ancient, mystical and eastern influences.
“Jewelry is more than a decoration, it is an extension of our inner affirmations that inspires us to create our own personal roadmap towards self-discovery. A symbolic and secret language we choose to wear to witness our life that elevates our well-being, express who we are and empower us.”

Q. What is your favourite thing about what you do in your career and why?
I love hearing about the history and stories of jewelry that I transform through Recycle Your Love – you learn so much by listening to peoples journey.
Q. What is your number one priority when it comes to your career and daily work?
Family comes first, and self-awareness to self-care.
Q. What keeps you motivated on a daily basis?
I love what I do and every single day is different. I get to make people happy and help them celebrate their life through adornment.
Q. Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
My favourite saying is: “When a thousand people look at the moon – there is a thousand moons.” This reminds me that everyone sees even the most common things differently, and we should embrace and listen in order to learn and grow.
