Q. What is your number one business goal to accomplish this year?
My number one goal this year would be to become more recognized and successful in my two business ventures @barnboardbeauties and @danniifreestyle. I hope to expand and learn more about the ins and outs of becoming a successful business owner as a woman.
Q. When you first started your career, how did you know you were ready? And what made you start?
I was always drawing, painting or getting my hands messy at a young age, so I guess I could say I’ve been ready for quite some time. Growing up close to my aunt, who was a sculptor in London, England, I always admired her creativity. Taking graphic design seemed to be the way to go. Having an advanced diploma in this field has led me to becoming an artist, designer and entrepreneur.

Q. What is your favourite thing about what you do in your career and why?
Running my own business has always been a goal of mine. Being your own boss and making your own hours fits my lifestyle and creative ways. I absolutely love being able to work at my own pace, as being an artist takes time, patience and dedication. It’s hard for me to choose one thing I love the most, as there are so many beautiful moments I get to experience.
Q. Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
“Life is what you make it”
This quote has more than one meaning to me. The outcome of each situation in life depends on how you react to it. Every day is a gift, and every day is a new chance to better yourself and reflect on the choices you make.
Q. What do you have going on that you’d like to share?
I am super excited to finally be able to share with everyone the launch of my new clothing line, Danniifree. I have been working on this night and day, all while moving to a new city and buying my very first home. My life for the last few years has been a crazy roller coaster ride, but filled with learning curves and positive changes. I am so thrilled to see where this new door will lead to.
