She also partners with fashion, family and beauty focussed brands to tell their stories. While creating all this magic, Nisha continues to empower herself and those around her to move past the status quo and into the extraordinary. Through all the various projects completed, finding the potential for personal growth has been exceptionally gratifying. The unknown often leads to the greatest lessons in my experience. When speaking at the United Nations to share my message on “Powerful Partnerships”, I was humbled with the knowledge that my ideas were widely received and that something I created was having an impact on this world of ours. I was driven to do more and now I am proud to champion stories, ideas and growth for a living.
Some of the greatest lessons one could hope to learn are those that come from within, that come from my personal relationship with myself. Self-love is my answer. I was once blessed by the Dalai Lama, and while documenting his holiness, I realized in that moment that anything is possible. A small-town girl, from Prince George, British Columbia, who worked in a pulp mill now finds herself in perpetual spiritual discovery and striving for equanimity.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I have created the opportunity to engage in fascinating exchanges in front of both live and digital audiences about mental health and spiritual growth. During my live online interviews, “Wellness Chats with Nisha” for the Stigma Free Society, I am also a part of the audience wanting to know how to inspire, cope, and grow through challenging times as a woman, a mother, a wife, and as a leader.

The legacy of a person is dependent upon what a person does and creates, and I want mine to be of love, collaboration, and inspiration. My newest project is “Women of Wonder” which is a collective/movement with the goal of connecting women to tap into their superpowers and elevate each other’s lives. It’s an idea that has been manifested and curated in partnership with my incredible friend and visionary, Karly Neveu. For us, this is a journey of igniting curiosity and self-discovery.
Karly and I danced into each other’s lives on a rooftop and realized that we had a lot of similar connections and a shared a philosophy around women in today’s society. This meeting of our minds brought about creative expression that helped us dare to dream of a better world. Through a mutual passion for self-discovery and developing meaningful relationships, we brought to life the idea of a dedicated group where women could support each other, lift each other up, and learn new ways to apply self-love. We are a feminine collective that encourages empowerment through ancient wisdom and modern science. This is a space where we gather, converse, and expand our minds to help every woman have the tools to supercharge their mind, body, and soul connection, and bring more wonder into their world.
