My story goes way back to the age of 13, from hockey player to skateboarder, turned cross fitter and olympic lifter I have been moving and keeping fit ever since. However after all those years of hard physical sport, by the age of 26 I had bad knees, a mangled back, and a very unhappy shoulder. I woke up one day thinking, “How is this normal to be feeling like I’m 80 when I’m only 26?”
So I went out venturing, looking for answers. I stumbled across a podcast that was hosting Julien from Strongfit, and instantly was blown away. I had been in the fitness space for a while and not heard anything like this, to me it was revolutionary yet naturally intuitive. So I latched on to their principles and teachings and started to see changes in not only my physical body (pain, strength, conditioning and performance) but the mental/behavioural understanding of myself and how workouts and life affect me day to day.
It wasn’t easy, but it was simple. I found a way to bring myself back from “the dead” hypothetically speaking and Im showing others how to do so as well. One by one I’m helping clients reassemble their lives through training and giving them the tools to help reduce chronic pain, fix movement patterns, identify weaknesses, build strength, increase aerobic capacity, realign sleep, manage food, and navigate mental/physical states (anxiety/ depression).
