I was born in North Vancouver, British Columbia and I now reside between Vancouver and San Diego, California.
As a child I noticed how sensitive and emotionally tuned I was to my environments and to those close to me. I experienced connection to the vibrancy of nature and the beauty of energy exchanges between humans and animals.
In caring for horses, dogs, cats and rabbits, I witnessed direct reflections of what was happening in the moment through them; I saw the impacts of an open and a closed heart.
My life provided many growth opportunities as I walked through marriage, parenthood, divorce, loss and starting over. As often as possible I traveled, when during one trip to San Diego I met my now husband. Together we’ve experienced the joys of life and marriage, while experiencing grief, accidents, relationships ending and many new beginnings.
Through all my lived experiences, I learned when my whole self was present. I saw how my human being and spirit being were intertwined within everyday life. Wonder was found in the very simple moments of joy and connection. Each experience in life deepened my compassion and empathy, gracing me with sweet gifts of knowing my True Self.
A time came when I was called to share this wisdom being birthed in me. I was called to transparently be. To show the fullness of Who I am in service to another. This was more than 12-years ago. From the moment I said YES and jumped in, I actively began working with a variety of people.
This service to another helped me discover that my soul’s purpose is to be Love. To generously offer love – to those I love, those whose hearts call out for support and those in the world around me.
The roadmap I use and teach is simple, it’s emotional movement, inner listening and courageously getting to know self from the inside out.
Healing requires a willingness to pursue it. A courage and desire to really know self. It comes with a yearning for life to be different and more fulfilling, having a deeper love of self and connection with others.
Usually, something happens in a person’s life that becomes the catalyst for change. Change takes focus and support from another that has walked a similar path. One that can shine a light when the emotional waves come bringing pain and a feeling of aloneness, a sense of quiet desperation.
Life is a journey for all of us. It’s a journey of healing and unwinding. I believe that this article found you on purpose. I invite you to create the change you’ve always wanted.
You are a magnificent being!
