Deborah Lohrenz lives in Halifax, NS, and is married to the love of her life – Bradley Lohrenz. She is the stepmom to two boys – now 21 and 25. Deb loves to travel and has been to 54 countries – something she never dreamed would be possible. Deb likes to work out and loves to box, lift weights, and to get outside to walk. Deb believes anything is possible and, at 63, she says, “it’s never too late to be your best.”
She also has four Ragdoll cats that are also part of her family. Deb has achieved a lot over the years and is grateful for any opportunity to grow and to help people. She also loves to learn and went back to university at 58 to get her Adult Education from Dalhousie University in Halifax. Deb was the Provincial Coordinator the NS RCMP Victim Assistance Program where she knew her past would help her help others – empathy is so important in helping victims. Now, Deb is working part-time with her company 2Motiv8U and is also helping her husband in his Chiropractic Clinic. She is catching up on the travelling she missed over the last three years.
If I could go back and give me advice, I would tell me that I could do anything I wanted and that I was capable of achieving whatever I wanted.
In the next five years, my husband and I plan to move to a warmer climate – Mexico. We travel a lot and love the country and the people.
The direction I took when I started my own business was focusing on helping others. I love learning and love sharing.
I live by two phrases: 1. Just breathe! 2. I am enough! Living in the “now” keeps me motivated daily. I recognize that we never know how long we have in this world, so I make the most of every day. I also learned you have to give yourself “grace.” If I ever need a reminder, my husband is my champion! I believe we must live life to the fullest and never give up!
