Kerri Kedziora found her freedom from childhood trauma to overcome alcoholism by choosing a better life. With a combined family with her husband Peter of five children and 11 grandchildren (and counting), she is on a mission to provide basic happiness for her family by empowering them to achieve their dreams. Kerri has one dream that rules her life. It is to be able to ensure the emotional, physical and financial freedom of her children that will sustain them for generations to come. By “unleashing the wound” she feels she is breaking the cycle of abuse and addiction for generations to come.
If I could give my past self some advice it would be to not be so hard on myself. I would explain that there is rarely success without failure and that the lessons learned in failure are the most long lasting and character building lessons you will ever learn! When I consider my greatest influences in business I would have to say they are my employees. When I finally learned that my employees are the most integral part of my business, beside my own ambitions and goals, and began to put their needs first, my business exploded! I am a person that will fight harder for others than I will for myself, therefore, fighting for my employees’ growth and development has driven my personal and business growth beyond measure!

While my cleaning business continues to grow, I am also an online coach. I empower other cleaning business owners to learn and grow in order to follow their dreams. It is something I do “for fun” now that my cleaning business is not so demanding of my time. I am blessed to have the financial freedom to develop and create this dream at my own pace. My goal is to have this program “off the ground” by the end of 2022 and continue on to inspire success for more business owners. I am excited to have partnered with another online program to create one program that solves more problems for many!
Five years from now I envision both of my businesses to be self-sufficient so that my husband and I can explore the world. Recently I have been diagnosed with a hereditary disease that may take my eyesight early in life (maybe not, but who wants to chance it). I want to travel far and wide and experience all of its beauty while I still have all of my senses.
My absolute favourite thing about my career is the freedom I now have to “try my hand” at other things without the fear of not being able to pay the bills! My excitement for new opportunities and ideas keeps me motivated to get up and go to my home office every morning. I absolutely love working with people that honestly just need a hand up! There are so many people on the verge of having the same freedoms as I do, it kills me to think they might decide to quit!
When I look back at my life, immediately I feel a sense of relief for having found a way to overcome my trauma and turn things around. This feeling quickly merges with acknowledgement that I consider my life now to be an absolute miracle! I am grateful for every single day and every person I am blessed to have walking this road with me. Two of my daughters now work at KAP Cleaners, one will be signed on as a partner this year, primarily for the acknowledgement that her contributions have been a driving in force in our success and growth. The other has just come onboard and we are excited about the future with/for her. I’d say I am well on my way to seeing my dreams come true for my children and grandchildren. I can honestly say that I wake up every day knowing that if this is as good as it gets, I will never be unhappy!
