Hoai Dang-Lachance is a business professional and contemporary abstract artist, with creatives reflecting ebb and flow of colour sought from past and present journeys.
I was born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in Vancouver, BC Canada.
I am a self-taught abstract artist, developing my own personal fluid and controlled style, with the application of subtle to vivid colourations.
I draw inspiration from the ebb and flow of colour and surroundings from past, present and future journeys. As journeys evolve, my work will in no doubt be ever-changing.
My process usually begins with the need to create, an idea of colour palettes and an emotion that embodies the journey. The preferred mediums are primarily mixed media, acrylic, alcohol ink and resin on canvas, wood and paper.
Each piece created is a journey to open expression and personal acceptance. The path from raw framework to completion is one that elevates mindfulness, serenity and peace. My hope is that my creations will bring forth additional colour and joy to you within your own journey.
