Mandi Sellers is an accomplished business owner, an inspirational leader to those around her, and a loving mother of two talented daughters. Mandi has been able to harness her strengths to achieve her ambitions.
Arriving as an immigrant from India with her parents at the age of three, she had to maneuver between her Canadian life and Indian roots to find her authentic voice in an intricate and delicate cross-cultural dance.
Growing up without a voice, she was determined to give others one. As a girl, she was exposed early on to an unjust system that favored men and diminished women. Embracing imperfection in her journey, she had to make difficult sacrifices that, for years, impacted her relationship with her family. Transforming her grief that resulted from loss, shame, and guilt for being a woman with defined choices and a bold outlook, into deepened compassion and awareness for self and others, she was able to create ground-breaking programs that empower women and Indigenous people. Advocating for other people serves her life-long learning goals and facilitates her own self-empowerment. She has learned to heal with people and grow together. Continuous personal growth and development remain the prime inspiration and strength behind her ongoing efforts to serve others.
Her programs are currently offered to over eighty Nations, communities, and friendship centres province-wide, and her company is recognized in both public and private settings for its exceptional services. Mandi’s finely tuned compassion, empathy, and intuitive insight combined with exceptional business acumen, yields long-term successful results for her clients and those she serves.
Driven by this authentic passion to help others and a desire to give back to her community, Mandi is constantly developing innovative ideas to foster her devotion to society’s personal and spiritual advancement. Her team members describe her as someone who empowers those around her, a woman of action, and one that can quickly turn a ‘no’ into a ‘why not?’.
