Rita, Founder of Riwas Designs, graduated from architecture school in Bern, Switzerland before immigrating to Canada in 1979. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for 20 years, and she later fulfilled her dream of designing and building her very own dream home. She now helps others realize their dream homes and designs homes that fit the landscape and their unique needs.
Where do you see yourself in five years? How do you envision your future?
Keeping active in my garden, spending time with my grandchildren and designing modern homes across Canada.
Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
Work hard and stay positive!
What is your number one business goal to accomplish this year?
Design a home in Whistler, Canada, where my daughter lives.
What keeps you motivated on a daily basis? Having purpose and a set plan ready for the day keeps me happy and motivated. Generally, when we are busy, we feel accomplished and this to me is where motivation comes from.
