
If you could give your past self some advice, what would you tell yourself?
I would tell my younger self to be more confident and to be yourself. Don’t hide behind what you think other people want you to be or do. Every person is going through something, so just keep going.
Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
I live by an Oscar Wilde quote “Experience is the name we give to our mistakes.” I am gaining experience every day. I decided when coming to Canada that I would try to do things that push me outside my comfort zone.



Where do you see yourself in five years?
Moving to Europe and running my business internationally.
What is your number one priority when it comes to your career?
Inspiring women to take control of their money and fight back against our patriarchal financial system fuels my days. Closing the wage gap

What is your number one business goal this year?
I currently work in fields that are related to my area of study and expertise, Wildlife biology. I would like to couple that with studies in conservation, so it aligns with my personal value system.
What is your number one priority when it comes to your career and daily work?
I heard this adage once and I believe it. If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life. Applying the same ethics to both work and my personal life will provide me with continuity and balance.
What is your favourite thing about what you do in your career and why?
My field of study requires a hands-on approach which works well for a person with ADHD. It has many facets that allow me to channel my energy into productive problem-solving tasks. It is different every day which keeps me engaged and being outdoors is freeing and stops me from feeling confined. The physicality of my job gives me a feeling of accomplishment and quiet satisfaction at the end of every day.
