If you could give your past self some advice, what would you tell yourself?
Live your life to the fullest. Do the things that scare you the most and always give more than you take. There will always be better or more talented people, but always be you and never give up on the things you want most.
When you first started your career, how did you know you were ready and what made you start?
I started my career out of passion and to be known for something bigger than myself. I put everything I had into my career, and I knew I was ready when my peers started recognizing me for my talents and encouraging me to take the next step. That made me believe in myself even more, and I took that step, never looking back.
What or who has been your greatest influence in business?
I have many influences on my journey and probably too many to name. I have had the pleasure of working with or training with the best in the business and cherish every moment I had with them. Some left a more significant impression on me than others, but still thankful for the growth.
Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
I actually have the words tattooed on my chest. “Actions Speak Louder Than Words”
What is your number one priority when it comes to your career and daily work?
My priority is to become better than I was yesterday, I am my biggest competition, and I have to compete with myself daily. I never stop learning and always think of myself as a student. I know the importance of making connections and building a good community around me and my work.
