What makes an opportunity exciting to you – in business or in life?
There’s something about a challenge that excites me, both in business and in life. This has come to the forefront of my awareness and experience, especially since the unexpected suicide of my life partner.
Beyond the challenges that come with grieving an unthinkable loss and having my world shattered, I took up rock climbing, skiing, ice climbing, and also partaking in some mountaineering objectives. These activities challenge me on all levels.
I grapple with the fear that I won’t have the energy to do these things while I’m doing them, as I’ve lived through a decade-long autoimmune condition (that I healed through Ayurvedic medicine and Energy Healing; the very modalities I offer to my clients).
What’s intriguing is that when I’m fully engaged in an activity that requires tenacity and conviction, I’m faced with all of the fears that dwell within my mental/ emotional/energetic landscape. This awareness when met with kindness and understanding can be used as fertilizer for remembering the truth of who I am and what I’m capable of when I’m living from a place of wholeness and connection to Divinity.
My time rock climbing translates to my business also as it’s the same limiting perceptions and beliefs that will arise when I step outside of my comfort zone in either place. The most thrilling part is witnessing myself change my inner narrative from not wanting to be on the planet after my partner’s death to creating a life and inner landscape I love living in.
What are you up to right now that people should know about?
I’m stoked to be focusing my work on a program I have for healers, coaches, yogis, and aspiring authors dealing with self-sabotage and impostor syndrome to clear their abundance blocks and eliminate stress so they can grow their income and impact doing what sets their soul on fire.
I’m also happy to announce that my bestselling book, Living After Loss: A Soulful Guide to Freedom is now available on Audible (as well as Amazon).
