If you could give your past self some advice, what would you tell yourself?
I would tell her that our time is short and to spend more time with those she loves. I would tell her that she is worthy of all the things she dreams of. People who are not happy with themselves will never be happy with you. Don’t let fear of what may happen hold you back from following your heart. But most of all, I would tell her that she has always had wings, she just needs to learn how to fly.
What or Who has been your greatest influence in business?
As a professional photographer, I strive to be as artistically creative as my cousin; Clive Arrowsmith who lives in England, I am in awe of his talent. My Dad shared the same passion and interest with me in photography and love of animals, we bought cameras and camera equipment together and would have great conversations about what we were going to photograph. He passed away in 2018, I miss him terribly.
What do you have going on that you’d like to share?
I wrote, produced, and directed my fourth short film, and filmed this one myself. It was a lot of fun, even though the topic of this film is very heavy. I can’t wait for you all to see it!! A link will be available soon on my website buttercupfilmproductions.com
My current photography special is for anyone 18+ no matter your size or shape, to ignite your inner confidence and celebrate your beauty. What keeps you motivated on a daily basis?
Well, it’s not always easy to stay motivated, life can get in the way, however, for me what I’m thankful for and what keeps me motivated, are my family and my animals. They are what feeds my soul. Sometimes my brain has a difficult time shutting off, because there’s so many creative ideas swirling around in there, so I do a lot of writing, it keeps my creative mind happy and motivated.
Where do you see yourself in five years? How do you envision your future?
I see myself living on a vast acreage, maybe in the interior, rescuing horses as I’ve done in the past, living off grid and enjoying life to the fullest. Of course, I’ll still be writing screenplays and doing photography.
