Susi Vasseur is a Coach, Speaker, Tutor, Mentor and Life Adventurer helping youth realize their own unique talents and potential.
In 2008, I was a private tutor and worked in the public school system. For four years, I taught a young girl. In her Grade 9 year, I watched her slowly slide into every bit of trouble you can imagine and worse. I was her ‘go to’ person to share her distress. With no training, these sharings were devastating for me. That’s when a friend suggested I consider taking a Life Coaching Program for Parents and Youth. I had never heard of such a thing! Thankfully, adding this to my skill set, I started my career as a Coach to help young people move forward in their life.

Teens are mostly vibrant, energetic beings and I love helping them work through the challenges of this developmental stage. My gift to them is that I am compassionate, resourceful, and patient. Whether the need is academic, emotional, or behavioural support, I build relationships so they can lean on me to find hope and possible solutions.

Life is about being open to challenges and change. When opportunities arise, treat the ideas as seeds for personal growth. Nurture your ideas carefully and embrace where the new options will lead you.
Happiness, for me, is about flow and having fun. I continue to learn, take risks and experiment. I feel more than grateful that opportunities show up and exciting new destinations emerge. Instead of asking, “Why?” I ask, “Why not!”
