Q. If you could give your past self some advice, what would you tell yourself?
I would tell my past self to slow down and to jump into business and marketing sooner! Travel more, Spend less money and save more… but I think that’s pretty common and I still have plenty of time!
Q. Where do you see yourself in five years? How do you envision your future?
In five years I would like the company I am building with my amazing business partner and friend, Badgirl Branding, to be running itself! Then I can be living in a different country, preferably Mexico, working from home (if I want), or the beach, and doing whatever I want, whenever I want. I want freedom and flexibility, that is what makes me happy.
Q. What is your favourite thing about what you do in your career and why?
My favourite thing about my career, being an advertising and marketing executive, is all the people I get to work with and everything I get to learn about all the different types of businesses. I am in the business of helping businesses grow. It’s a lot of fun coming up with campaigns and watching them work. It’s my passion and I love helping people see the positive in every challenge.
Q. Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
I live by the “everything good takes time” and “every day alive and above ground is a good one” mantra, I guess you could say. A positive mindset and healthy attitude towards life is essential in finding happiness. I just try to remind people of the good that they have, as so many forget.
Q. What is your number one priority when it comes to your career and daily work?
My number one priority in my daily work is making sure my clients are happy. That comes with making sure their ads are working and their campaigns are within a realistic reach. I see myself as a business coach at most times.
Q. What keeps you motivated on a daily basis?
I have a lot of things that keep me motivated on a daily basis . My doggos, for one, are a huge part of getting my butt up early, on a proper schedule of walking so much and needing a pay check! My amazing and supportive boyfriend, who is my biggest cheerleader. And knowing that the dream doesn’t work unless you do! So, get up and be awesome !
