Christina Wyatt is a mother, business owner, and partner of an entrepreneur and she is referred to as your girl next door financial guide on social media.
She is a Certified Financial Planner® and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Cash Flow Specialist designations in her field.

She and her partner, Jordan, are Nova Scotia raised small business owners. With Jordan owning and operating JCR Construction and Christina running her financial planning practice, it is almost inevitable that their son Ryland take on some of their entrepreneur genes. But for now, he keeps the family busy with his multiple sports – Christina’s favourite pass time is cheering on her son.
With over ten years of experience in the industry, she has a passion for financial education, which she shares through her social media platforms and with clients. There is a huge gap in financial literacy for people of all ages, and her goal is to fill that gap.
“There are some benefits that come with learning from others instead of your own experiences, especially when it comes to money.” – Christina Wyatt.

Q. If you could give your past self some advice, what would you tell yourself?
Keep on going – times will be tough, but you’re going to get through it. The work you put in now will be realized later, so don’t be so hard on yourself! Also, learn about compound interest and make it work for you, not against you!
Q. What is your favourite thing about what you do in your career and why?
My very favourite thing about my career is helping people. When I can help clients achieve their dreams through diligent planning, I feel success – I love that my success is made through the success of others. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Q. When you first started your career, how did you know you were ready and what made you start?
Do any of us know we are 100% ready? I took a giant leap forward, believing that I could do it with hard work and faith. I had worked helping financial advisors for many years before becoming one myself – I did take time to learn and be mentored by some of the best in the business, which gave me the skills and knowledge needed for my clients to get out there on my own.
Q. What keeps you motivated on a daily basis?
My family and my son – as a mother, I want to give him the world, and through helping others with their financial goals, I can achieve mine.
Q. What is your number one business goal to accomplish this year?
A big goal for me in 2022 is to grow my online platforms so I can reach more individuals with important financial literacy. Please help me achieve this goal by following my social media links here!
