Q. If you could give your past self advice, what would you say?
I would tell myself to believe in who I am, to not worry what other people think of me in order to belong. To love the inner child and show them the way.
Q. When you first started your career, how did you know you were ready and what made you start?
My career started out of a lack of graphic design work. I used my kitchen floor as a studio, put my paintings up in coffee shops and never believed I would have achieved what I have today. It has been a slow, steady and rewarding process.

Q. Who or what has been your greatest influence?
Me, myself and I, and all the wonderful people and students around me who have continued to help me fulfill the confidence in myself.
Q. What is your favourite thing about what you do and why?
My favourite thing about my career is the ability to share my knowledge and passion with others. To help others to tap into their creativity when they were hesitant to try. Also to see the growth in my work over the years and the excitement of the growth to come.
Q. Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
Don’t let fear get in your way.
There is no such thing as a mistake.
Believe in yourself.
Laughter is the best medicine.
