Ron Sombilon is a talented photographer/artist who has made a name for himself in the industry. Ron’s passion for photography started after he finished his career as an animator, and he has honed his skills through self-development, mentorship and client projects.
He can creatively tell a story through his photography and mixed media. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including celebrities, advertising firms, corporate, sports, fitness and charities.
Ron is also passionate about using his platform to awareness and funds for charities. He is eternally inspired by the profound effect his Mother, Laura, had on the Vancouver Community. She was head nurse at VGH’s palliative care unit for over 30 years, cared for 1000s of patients, and inspired friends and family to live healthier and loving lives.
The defining moment in Ron’s life was her passing from breast cancer. During her funeral, he and his brother Gerald stood up to honour and speak about her. He was amazed by countless people overflowing the church to pay their respects.
He saw hundreds of his mother’s former patients, whom he recognized from the photo albums she had shared with him during his childhood. His Mothers’ legacy was of kindness and caring. He knew that moving forward in life, he needed to pursue his passion and follow in his mother’s footsteps. His purpose is to inspire and positively impact the art/photography industry and world.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ron is also a devoted family man who prioritizes his loved ones and makes time for them whenever possible.
His team comprises over 30 expert photographers and videographers who share the same passion for supporting clients with innovative visual assets that build strong brands. Reach out to Sombilon Studios to connect.
