Being creative, making memories, and hearing lots of laughs and silly sounds!
What is your current state of mind?
Optimistic, my glass is always half full.
What is your favorite occupation?
Mom & being behind the lens and snapping photos! I love being creative and crafty in everything I do.
What is your most treasured possession?
A photo album of my boys that has images of my boys encounters with Santa each year. It is priceless.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My family.
What is your favorite journey?
Life, all of it. I try to embrace all the twists and turns along the way.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Having a camera nearby.
When and where were you the happiest?
Being surrounded by cheerful, happy people that make me laugh so hard it hurts!
What is it that you most dislike?
Dishonest people.
What is your greatest fear?
Snakes & Rodents… I don’t do well with these! When I’m in a field taking photos it’s a good laugh for my clients when they see my reaction to any of these creatures.
What is your greatest extravagance?
My my cameras.
Which living person do you most despise?
Life is too short to take away any happiness. I don’t despise anyone.
What is your greatest regret?
Not pursuing further education, after highschool. It’s never too late and I have been able to attend a number of programs and workshops over the years.
Which talent would you most like to have?
To play an instrument.
Where would you like to live?
Somewhere warm for more than half the year, be near the water, and not far from the mountains.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Wishing my brother would have found a pathway to happiness; 2010 was a hard year.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
Kind and has a great sense of humour! Even better if he laughs at his own jokes 😂.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Those that work through the challenges, and seek support when needed.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Procrastination… I’ll explain this later.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Those that perpetuate hate.
What do you most value in your friends?
Honesty and compassion are the foundation of a long lasting friendship.
Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
Buffy Summers, you know… ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ she was and is still a favourite for sure! My bestie and I from highschool were Slayerettes. Who wouldn’t want to battle vampires, demons and the forces of darkness with Angel by your side?
Who are your heroes in real life?
My husband, he moves mountains for us!
Which living person do you most admire?
This is easy; my mom! I admire her lust for life, kindness and the love she gives to everyone she meets!
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Comfort, if you live in the safe zone, you’ll never truly experience life. We need some discomfort to challenge us from time to time to keep life real.
On what occasions do you lie?
When someone asks me how old I think they are.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Interesting, Really, No Way and Sure.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
We live in British Columbia, Canada and I would love to spend more time with family, near and far. My extended family live in Ontario, Canada and my in-laws live in Stockport, England. I am fortunate that we can video call and connect with each other online, but seeing them in person more often would be way better!

How would you like to die?
Yikes.. I don’t plan on going anywhere soon, but when it’s my turn I want to remember the many fond times I was fortunate to be a part of.
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?
Betty White. She was wholesome, risky, witty, had a lust for life that was admirable and she had the best voice and laugh. Her quote, “Everybody needs a passion. That’s what keeps life interesting. If you live without passion, you can go through life without leaving any footprints,” is very true to me and I would love to walk in her shoes!
