With online resources for skincare recommendations, product tips and business training, I am able to help my Customers experience healthier, younger-looking skin. As an R+F Consultant, I am my own boss and free to create my own schedule. I have also made meaningful connections with so many amazing people. From other Consultants to Customers to the Home Office Team, the R+F Community is engaging, energetic, and makes being an R+F Consultant more fun than I could ever imagine.
If you could give your past self some advice, what would you tell yourself?
If I could give my past self some advice, I would tell myself not to put so much onus on what others think of me….just be you, you are more than enough.
When you first started your career, how did you know you were ready and what made you start?
When I first started my business, I had no idea if I was ready or not because I really had no idea what I was stepping into…I just decided to blow caution to the wind, step out of my comfort zone & go for it, dry heaves & all!
What or who has been your greatest influence in business?
The people I have found to be my biggest influence are women just like me. Women who have stepped into the unknown with fear & uncertainty in their hearts & butterflies in their stomachs, but who did it anyway. I have admiration for those who take a chance on themselves to better their lives amidst society’s grumbling… it’s powerful, motivating & uplifting.
What is your number one business goal to accomplish this year?
My number one business goal this year is to help as many women as is possible to rise above their circumstances, attain what it is they desire, dream of, and to live to their fullest capacity & potential.
What do you have going on that you’d like to share?
I have just hit 17.5 years of sobriety & the celebrations of these milestones never seem to get old. I used to tell myself I would be missing out if I wasn’t partying it up with my compadres only to realize, through sobriety, that I was actually missing everything. Sobriety has been a rebirth of the woman I was meant to be…the woman I deserve to be.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In 5 years, I hope to establish myself as a leader within Rodan+Fields.I value building relationships & truly believe that great leadership comes from working within a team. I believe whole heartedly in the idiom that It takes a village…and then some.
How do you envision your future?
In the future I can clearly see myself making guacamole & Pico de gallo on my sea facing lanai in Puerto Vallarta with my husband, enjoying our aging years together. When you have a business that can be run from anywhere there really are no limitations!
What is your favourite thing about what you do in your career and why?
My favorite thing about what I do is knowing in my heart that I am helping women…helping them with their skin issues, hair debaucles & an opportunity that can change the trajectory of their lives. Receiving a text, message or email from women who are beyond grateful that I entered their lives, no matter the capacity …well there is just nothing better than that.
Do you have a mantra or phrase you live by? What is it?
Be grateful. Focus on what’s good in my life & be thankful for all that I have.
What is your number one priority when it comes to your career and daily work?
Show up every single day…for my business, my clients, my teammates & for myself. Accountability is a vital component to my success as it builds an atmosphere of trust & a culture of ownership.
What keeps you motivated on a daily basis?
Me…I keep me motivated on a daily basis. I stay true to myself & my daily disciplines & keep my eyes on the prize. When you enjoy what you do & know that it has a meaningful impact, well that’s enough to have me skipping into my office day after day after day.
