Here’s some great ideas when your shopping for Dad, a Big Brother, Grandpa, Step Dad or any father figure you would like to shop for this year for Father’s Day!
I reached out to a few Dad’s including my own to find out what they might want or recommend to buy this year.
I did think it was important to add some “beauty” items for this article, since that’s what I do. The men in our lives deserve some self care too. These are gifts they might never buy for themselves, so let’s treat them.
One self care item that is made for getting Dad’s feet in shape is the Men’s Babyfoot. This foot peel was designed especially for men and their foot treatment needs! Plus a home spa day with Dad could be fun too! Why can’t Dad’s do face-masks…? They sure can and the Evolution Man Resurfacing Clay Mask is designed just for men. Dad could probably use some luxury skin care and the Nu Noir Face and Body Wash is also a perfect gift!

For the men who like to regular groom or have beards they like to keep looking great, I reached out to Alexandra Dorval, owner of LUX Barber Co. to get her favourite picks for Dad.
Alexandra recommended products from one of her favourite product lines.
GIBS Alpha male beard hair & tattoo oil – Softens, hydrates & tames with the scent of warm vanilla, sandalwood and white musk. Brightens tattoos and enhances color while promoting healthy collagen and elastin in skin. It’s also a natural UV protectant.
The GIBS 3 way wash – A 3 way for your shower; beard, hair and body wash. Doesn’t strip natural oils from hair or beard, so it won’t make the hair or beard dry like traditional soaps and washes. It’s also Sulfate free, so for those who colour their hair or beard their colour will last a little longer compared to traditional soaps and washes.
Another fave for dad’s is the GIBS Handle Bar (exfoliating brick of man soap)– smells incredible and gets that nitty gritty clean.
If that special man in your life is in to health and wellness here’s some great gift option ideas from personal trainer Dave Fontaine of Good Life Fitness. @magnum_davefontaine
Dave recommends the Trigger Point GRID Foam Roller. The Self myofascial techniques like foam rolling help relieve tight muscles, improve mobility, and enhance recovery. This is a great gift for that busy active dad in your life!
Another great gift idea for that fit Dad is Magnum Quattro Protein Isolate. This is a pharmaceutical grade, sustained release protein isolate from Magnum Nutraceuticals. It tastes great, and is a healthy, convenient way to increase your protein intake alongside a healthy diet. For the fit Dad on the go, squeezing in the occasional protein shake can allow you to stick to your nutritional goals without missing out on that extra half hour at the park!
Dave also recommends the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. Fantastic book for the busy Dads out there. Have you ever struggled to get in those workouts, start running, or doing yoga? Then this is the perfect book to make you feel like you do have time to fit it in, by building good habits and getting rid of the bad ones.
For even more health and wellness ideas for Dad, I reached out to Mike Gaff RMT D.ac the Owner Of Three Treasures Tonics. Mike Gaff says ” It goes without saying that Tonic Herbs work best when added to already healthy & vibrant lifestyle…Like a “secret ingredient” to enhancing one’s performance abilities through personalized lifestyle additions.
Here are some of those “secret ingredients’ he recommends for Dad.
HE SHOU WU The major eternal youth tonic herb for anti-aging, virility, and can help slow down graying of hairs & hair loss.
Another great product Mike recommends is GINSENG – is used to increase resistance to environmental stress, improve physical performance, concentration, tonify the lungs, & improve mood.
Does Dad already have a favourite coffee? Mike Gaff also recommends adding Cordyceps drops to improve stamina, physical performance and adaptability- which is perfect gift for Dad to add to his cup of joe!
Since this is a year of self care, here are a few more health and wellness options I was able to get from Popeyes Supplements for you to shop for Dad. We all need a little more greens and veggies in our life and if Dad is not getting enough, here’s a great option Progressive Vege Greens from Popeyes supplements. One scoop of Vege Greens packs the nutritional punch of 6-8 servings of greens from over 60 types of vegetables. You get a huge variety with land, sea and cruciferous vegetables.
Did you know that :
Zinc is a vital mineral, and also one of the most deficient among men?
The ATP Syner Zinc from Popeyes Supplements would be a great add on to any gift for fathers day to make sure your dad is getting all the right vitamins and minerals. And we all know that Dad’s need a good nights rest and maybe it’s time for the best pillow to gift to Dad this year!
Dr. Andy Pawlovich – chiropractor recommends The Normalizer Pillow:
“Your dad should like one because it has a thick end and a thinner end. There is a hollowed portion in the middle which allows the head to rest. The thick or thin end options allow for support for different head, neck and shoulder sizes and ratios. Ideally, the neck should be in a neutral position while sleeping whatever position one sleeps.” I think this sounds like a perfect gift for the Dad who needs to get a good nights rest!

AND last but definitely not least I reached out to my very own Dad to ask him his tried and true products he loves and what he would want for Father’s Day.
I loved his answers so much I had to share as I know my Dad has been using the same products he has always used since I was a little girl.
I remember my Dad singing while getting ready and anytime I smell certain products, it takes me back to when I was little watching my Dad shave and get ready.
My dad’s philosophy is “ if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” I would have to agree with my Dad – when you find something that works and that you love, don’t change it.
My Dad’s favourite products for getting ready are – Old Spice Deodorant, Head and Shoulders Shampoo, Dial Soap and Brute Aftershave.
If your Dad has his favourite things, I recommend adding those products to your Father’s Day gift too.
Happy Father’s Day to my Dad. I’m so lucky to have the Dad I do and feel truly blessed.
Sending out a Happy Father’s Day to all Dad’s, including those special men who step into roles to parent or big brother into children’s lives.
Thank you!
